Spoiled Wine

Apr 15th, 2008 by Alana

Hot Dog in Convertible, Aj GentryWine is like food, ever-changing. Did you know that leaving milk or wine in the heat will cause similar results?

Here’s some tips to get the best from every bottle.

  • A dusty bottle of wine next to a heater in a store is not worth it (even if it is on sale).
  • Oxygen to wine is like sunlight to a vampire, avoid dried corked by storing your bottles on their sides.
  • Heat rises, put your wine rack on top of a shelf or refrigerator and you’ll get the equivalent of spoiled milk.
  • Red wine is not happy in a cold refrigerator, it will turn on you with a vengeance.
  • Don’t leave your dog or wine in your hot car. (click on picture)
