Since being introduced to great Rosés, I have to continually restock my wine fridge because I love it so much.
Here’s some tips to discovering a whole new world of Rosé:
- Taste at wineries, wine bars and events.
- Ask what varietal it is made from (my favorite is 100% Pinot Noir, followed closely by the Rhone varietals such as Syrah and Mouvédre).
- Learn the difference between Rosé and white zinfandel.
- Get to know dry Rosés (as opposed to sweet)…there really is such a thing! In fact, it’s a trend.
- Order Rosés at restaurants so you can continue to learn; ask the server to help pair the wine.
- Remember, Rosé is the perfect lunch wine because it is usually low in alcohol.
Arrowood’s Rose ($20 retail) is exceptional and the winery is a great place for wine education.

I love the new design for your blog!
Thx. You’re the first person to tell me that! A team worked on it for quite awhile even tho once the design was done, it went up fast.
